At first, when you visit the “automatic builder” site you don’t have a clue what it’s all about. My first guess was another Herbalife system. But I was wrong. Sign up, and you’re given instant access to read about the company and their products (with oh-so irritating audio clips! Why do sites insist on these?!)

The product seems to be, like most network marketing or MLM companies, based around nutritional supplements. In this case those from Nutronix. Mostly because they’re a consumable, something that you, your customers and your down line will be able to buy month in and month out. And something that makes a better sales pitch than soap! Thus the claim of residual income. Of course, like most MLM companies the product is actually the promise of big earnings to cure all your money ills. But whether that happens is down to your ability to sell. (As much as most companies will tell you otherwise).

On the subject of which, AutomaticBuilder.com! This is the answer to all your prospecting and sales woes. Apparently. I’m guessing it consists of the sales page that I read and an email follow up auto responder series. Digging deeper I read this costs $9.95 a month. Couple this with the $12.95 a month you’ve got to be spending to get the product – you’re looking at needing about $23 a month to break even if you’re considering this. This is actually quote low compared to a lot of traditional MLMs (we used to try and spend £200 a month in Amway!). Unfortunately, I can’t see the details of the compensation plan to see what you’d need to do to achieve this. I can see that the compensation plan is a 3 x 8 matrix with spillover from above and depth bonuses if your group goes beyond.

As a bizop it seems pretty much what you’d expect – although I’m never keen on having to pay out for the tools you need to promote a company. They should cover that from what they make from you being a success. But never mind, plenty of companies do this and if you’re turning a profit the you’re turning a profit!
