If you have 30 to 40 people in your Quixtar / Amway business then you’re making at least $50,000 a year residual income

This entry is my reply to a comment left about a post called “Amway is a human to human business. So much for “Interactive Commerceâ€? then.“. The original post bears little relation to the rants of Adam, the man leaving the comment. As usual with replies to comments, his part goes first - my response follows.

its really funny you say you tryed it .. obviously you approached it only with the intent to “try it out, but you didnt stay in long enough to get big otherwise you wouldnt be working that job of yours becuase you wouldnt have to, you guys really make me laugh with your opinions especially when you say you “tryed it when in fact you barly looked at it becuase from what you say you obviously know very little about the plan at all.

It really embarrases me to hear people quote verbatum from the tapes and conference speakers. In know myself, I used to think like that, so it makes sense at the time. But it is utter tosh this “trying” crap, it’s all part of the brainwashing to keep you involved and make you feel special and above the “quitters” that gave up on their Amway or Quixtar dreams. Believe me, we gave our all to building the business and spent a VAST amount of time studying the plan trying to make the figure quoted by the kingpins fit reality. (I’m talking about comparing the actual plan from Amway with the Micky Mouse system ones)

you say
“Define “succeed. In the case of the system, you are rewarded for building a big enough downline of people to make the system owners a lot of money through books, tapes and functions. Neither you or anyone in your downline may be making any money, but that’s okay, you’re a success.

first off the people who make the audios dont “own the system secondly they dont make billions off the system, the majority of they income comes from theyre business, as shown in the plan.

Open your eyes. Read the accounts of people who DID make it big in Amway, who openly admit that their company checks would not be enough to live off and that the majority of their earnings came from the system they were promoting - and boy they had to work their arses off to get it. There are Diamonds, Emeralds and higher pins that really regret and hate leading 100s of people on.

secondly if you have a downline big enough to bring a function to your area, both you and your downline are making money and not in small amounts, you need 30-40 people to have your own funtion if you have 30-40 people in your business your making at least 50000$ a year residual income .. um that isnt a small amount of money for an hour a day for a year or more, thats damn good results..

I haven’t got the time to do the figures now. But $50,000 of 30-40 people is a very optimistic estimate and for that you would have to have 30-40 ACTIVE IBOs. And you’re deluded if you think you can grow and maintain a large (Platinum+) group for an hour a day for a “year or more”. Remember that’s $50,000 pre-tax and expenses you’ll incur.

point is just becuase you quit and it didnt work for you doesnt mean it doesnt work .. if it didnt work it wouldnt be approved by the BBB or the federal trade commission .. so maybe you should educate yourself in the quixtar and amway business a bit more before you post things you cant prove fact is the plan works you just didnt want to do it

Amway/Quixtar are not approved by the BBB and certainly not by the FTC. Read “What Happened In 1979?” for a better explanation than I could provide.

Haha, and then when the 50% attrition rate sinks in, you have 10-20 people and then 5-10 people teh following year. It’s why there’s no true residual income, except for a rare few, perhaps like britt or puryear.

Oh, and don’t forget to subtract the cost of the teaching system when making those income claims. Funny how most IBOs forget about the system costs.
